FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
HCCS provides assistance to individuals and families in completing applications and obtaining various forms of financial assistance
- 504 AND 502 LOAN AND GRANT APPLICATIONS
- HCCS provides assistance to homeowners for repair and remodeling to enhance health and safety in collaboration with USDA.
- LIHEAP
- Provides assistance to low income families, the elderly, and disabled to pay for energy for winter heat and summer cool in conjunction with Community Action of Southern Indiana.
- PSI/CINERGY HELPING HAND
- HCCS completes applications for this program providing energy assistance for the disabled and elderly.
- SC 40 TAX FORM ASSISTANCE
- HCCS provides assistance with filing for utility tax refund for low income seniors.
- IDA (INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNTS)
- HCCS provides the application process and supporting activities for this Community Action of Southern Indiana program. Through participation in the IDA program, participants may qualify for a match of dollars by the government to use for a down payment on a home, secondary education, or to start a small business.
