HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
HCCS coordinates Holiday Assistance programs through a collaborative approach involving over thirty-five churches, civic organizations and other groups.
- SANTA SHOP
- HCCS will not be organizing Santa Shop this year. Santa Shop and the Angel Tree will be combined through the Salvation Army only. The dates of application at the Salvation Army are November 3rd - November 25th. Donations of new, unwrapped toys and new clothing items are welcome. Call 812-738-4372 for operation hours and further information on items most needed.
- HOLIDAY BASKETS
- HCCS provides holiday (Thanksgiving/Christmas) food baskets to those who are unable to afford them. This program must be applied for in advance of the holiday season. Contact HCCS for information on how to apply for this program. This program is supported by cooperation with the Salvation Army and other service organizations, however, food donations are welcome. Call for further information on items most needed and when and where to bring them.
